I need to change my transfer case oil and will go with an Amsoil gear lube. Three of their gear lubes are suitable (80W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube, SEVERE GEAR 75W-90 Synthetic EP Lubricant & 75W-90 Synthetic Long Life Gear Lube)but I don't normally see anyone make reference to a specific Amsoil gear lube. What would be considered to be the best Amsoil g lube for a requirement for a GL 5?

Its a AWD Lexus RX300. No towing, no off road. 106,500 miles. I want it to last forever though. I know three different Amsoil gear lubes will work but I never hear anyone making a distinction between the different Amsoil gear lubes. Even if its overkill, for the cost of one quart I want the best.

Yes 80W-90 or 90.
Either of my SVG or SVT recommendations are Amsoil's top gear oils. You probably won't need the 110 (old 90), so go with the SVG.

I use the 75w110 and its great. I didnt notice a loss of MPG or power coming from dino 80w90.
I did'nt realize the 75w110 was the old 75w90....neat. Must have been a thick 90 weight.
