Now that is the freaky thing. Maybe there was something in the one bottle to start. Do you still have the full bottle? Amsoil wants it back, big time.

Great that they car I don't think any other company ... Would waste their time on it ...

Yes I do have those two bottles Sealed un opened.

After mixing deposit is gone ... But i guess they cant still examine it .. Or it may come back :)

Thank you very much Pablo for your involvement ..

THATS WHY ... AMSOIL IS CALLED BEST SYNTHETIC OIL !
Its not only about OIL its ABOUT PEOPLE !

Yeah ... I don't think any other company would even consider that .... Maybe RL or RP .. but not those Giant ones..

But I talked with Pablo over email - he sent me forms .. from Tech Dep.

But actually I my go ahead and use it ...

It will save me sometime ...

Bruce confirmed that is safe to use ... and I trust him.

I thought Amsoil had some elaborate filtration setup to 'polish' their products to some low micron level before bottling? I seem to recall reading that in their Action News some time ago.

For what it is worth I just inverted the 3-gallon jugs of "ACD" I have that are at least 2 years old. There wasn't anything on the bottom of any of the containers and they haven't been disturbed for the entire time....not purposely turned over anyway. My garage is heated and never lower than 50°F in the winter.

I've seen this in 3 different oil brands now. I noticed what looked like gel blobs going in the funnel, so I stopped putting it in the engine and poured the remaining jug into an old plastic ice cream pail, sure enough small lumps. Anyway, they blended in with stirring, the oil didn't smell funny or seem different than the other oil I had, so I used it. UOA came in about identical to the last.

I've seen oil bead up into little blobs when going down the funnel but it was always just the way the oil oil was hitting it. It never actually turned out to be real blobs.

Hi,

No because I mixed it ... and it went away .. but there a picture in this post with almost exact deposit ... my was bit brighter that's it ..

I have seen this in almost all of my redline bottles of 10w30 and 10w40. I dont have dates of manufacturing on hand, but I am not worried about it. I always shake up the bottles for around 30 seconds while the other bottle is draining into the motor. the bottles look clean inside now that I shake them. Being white, it is easy to see if anything is left in the bottles.

I dont know if my TSO or ASL has ever looked like that, cause I always shake up the bottles before hand.

How about sending some in for a VOA? Then you would have a pretty good idea whats in it or not?

And you would not have to waste money if its still good.
