Hey guys random issue, my friends car has a cone amsoil EAA filter, he had a coolant failure that sprayed coolant all throughout his engine bay covering his EAA with green coolant.
Its dried in and the amsoil website says just to "Tap or vacuum" the dirt out...well thats not going to work.
Think its safe to submerge the filter in a water solutin? Or even a very think degreaser\water solution?
Cliffnotes: EAA filter covered in coolant, how to do a better cleaning than what Amsoil recommends.
Thanks!
