AMSOIL EA15K cut open

Just changed my oil at 11000km last Saturday, so I cut open the filter today.

Is there a composite/fiber/rubber seal on the bottom end cap to seal against the bypass valve leaf spring?

I have cut a few of these open from my Honda accord.
Looks like it caught a lot of dirt, how is your air filter?

I don't think there is. I believe it is metal to metal

Definitely champ labs, the blue bypass valve and leaf spring design is a dead giveaway.
