Another fine job with the race report! Thank you.
You are spot on @Red Crow. I wonder if this was their typical mile and a half brake package? Not impressed with the brake package. 40 laps in and they are trashed.
Cliff Daniels was on the SiriusXM NASCAR post race show and said there was a mix of teams using an intermediate brake package and others using more of a short track brake package. You can guess what the right choice was.You are spot on @Red Crow. I wonder if this was their typical mile and a half brake package?
I'm sure the crew chiefs notebook were busy today.
I've got my flamesuit on so I'll go ahead and say it. I can't stand the NBC color guys. They are shrill and talk like they skipped every English class in their schooling. Nascar is getting boring! It's Larsen and then the pack.3 points wins in a row. 4 wins in a row with Cup if you count the All Star Race last weekend.
I get it. Not a fan of Rick Allen personally. I would like to see Leigh Diffey or Alan Bestwick in there instead. I think they have too many people in the booth. They seem to be talking over eachother a lot.I've got my flamesuit on so I'll go ahead and say it. I can't stand the NBC color guys. And what it it with the Larson Chevy?? Nobody can catch or keep up with him. How can that car be so much better than everyone else?? Something smells!
Those are some good shots of the action. Hope you guys had a good time. For Father’s Day my son bought tickets to the race. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but as it was the first race since 1984 I’m cutting them some slack. We had excellent seats:

We had a great time. We love racing- NASCAR, IMSA, Indycar, F1, the local 1/8 mile strip- we love it all. Those are some good shots of the action. Hope you guys had a good time.
Bestwick FTW! He's always been one of my favorites.I get it. Not a fan of Rick Allen personally. I would like to see Leigh Diffey or Alan Bestwick in there instead. I think they have too many people in the booth. They seem to be talking over eachother a lot.
Weird thing is I thought he did a great job with Fox on the Truck series. But something happened when he went to NBC and its like nails on a chalkboard.Bestwick FTW! He's always been one of my favorites.
Rick Allen...ugh. I'm so tired of his over-the-top baseball voice.
