All over the news Tesla is in trouble.

Going through a mall in Asia on a Monday night. Amazing to see people and their interest in the Teslas on display . The mall had other vehicles on display, but those vehicles were not drawing any interest, including Chinese EVs.

Look at the pictures, mall is fairly empty, with the exception on the Tesla display. People taking selfies, etc.

Fascinating..... Might have to pull a @JeffKeryk and buy TSLA stock while it's price is short term depressed( not really - I don't buy equities).

So, your title says that the interest in Tesla is fading, but you make the argument, with photos to prove it, that interest in Tesla is still strong - at least in Asian malls?

Do I have that right?
Title update to "pictures tell a different story".

I think they're saying it sarcastically. Like, people are saying interest is down but look at all these people.

Those pictures prove nothing, sales figures and stock prices "usually" tell the story.
In 2001 I took a six figure loss in a equity because I believed the press, and not the pictures. One more year left in taking the deduction from the loss on my federal income tax.

That sucks, please note the word [usually] in quotes. In the case of Tesla at the moment the numbers and the press "might" be right.

IIRC Tesla has zero debt, positive cash flow, generates an annual profit, and the world's most advanced vehicle manufacturing plants.

Yes, Tesla may be in trouble. But outside of Chinese auto manufacturers, looks like Tesla is in a better position than every other automotive manufacturer in the world.

There were more people at the B&N Starbucks last Tuesday morning.
Awesome to know the B&N in Fayetteville is still in business. I frequented the Fayetteville B&N many times over the years.

I never bought coffee at the Fayetteville B&N Starbucks, as it was one of the few places for single Soldiers to hang out in peace in Fayetteville, so there was almost never a seat open.

Pictures don't lie. Elon's idea is on fire. Tesla is currently a very hot topic, many having burning questions.

EDIT (x 2): Recent intentional arson by unhappy campers who simply don't like the man behind the machines. Tongue in cheek, nothing to do with Gon's topic. It's hump day - gotta have some fun!
