AIRAID intake fft will it hurt?

i have a airaid air intake on one of my vehicles and they use the same type filter as k&n . i used the k&n cleaner and oil on it. i know these filters dont filter too well so i grabbed so foam filter treatment i use on my dirtbikes and coated it with that. i think this will work better than the filter oil.
anyone know if this will have any negative effects or is my idea dumb and wont make a difference?

K&N claims to have de-bunked the claims that their filter oil contaminates Mass Airflow Sensors.

No such promises from Uni or whomever's foam filter oil you used.

i did not use a foam filter. i coated my airaid filter,which is basically the same as a k&n with foam filter treatment the spray on kind.was curious if this will harm the filter i think it would work better than the oil.

besides i dont have a MAF on this vehicle so that is no concern of mine
