Air filter sizing?

I looking at replacing my K&N cone filter with a smaller one due to size of it.

How can I figure out what the minuim size cone filter I can use with out hurting air flow. I have a 4.7L motor?

K&N used to have some filter sizing guidelines in their web site. Maybe they still do.
