How often do you reverse blow your vehicle air filters? I do this about every month or so and try to blow enough air through to remove the dirt but not damage the filter material.
I don't. The material is being captured by the filter so I don't see any need to try to blow it back out. I just change the filter(s) every 20K miles or so.
Ditto. The old cliche "Don't save a penny now only to spend a dollar later" comes to mind. I figure filters are cheap considering how long they usually last. I'm not going to skimp on something that performs a very important task.
