Affordable way to view SAE Technical Papers

I am wanting to view old SAE Technical papers on old engines such as the Iron duke ect... I cannot find an affordable way to view such papers. I believe its something like 216 dollars for 12 documents or 33 dollars per document.

Are there any alternatives?

What are you looking for about the engine ? Things like Haynes manuals often have a lot of technical specs on engines so get the manual for a car model that had this engine.

It's theoretically possible to view SAE papers by using sci.hub

jstor.org offers those studies (at least some of them), and their website lists many institutions that subscribe to them.
