Seriously, this is a retailer's attempt to:
A) Profiteer on people who feel they must get an "official" fluid for their vehicle.
B) Commit fraud by giving a kickback to whoever steers customers their way. This can be a garage or a corporate "customer" restocking a shelf for, say, fleet use.
Companies which don't monitor their buying are ripped off all the time.
