AAP ships ATF but not Oil

Does it make sense that AAP will ship ATF but not Motor Oil?

Is this a hazmat transportation issue or maybe because they don't want people using coupon codes with oil change specials??

I don't know what the issue is. If you go to their website and try to ship to home, you can ship any ATF but not oil. Nothing to do with coupons.

that is weird, though I wouldn't care enough to investigate because their ATF is expensive...walmart, other places definitely has it cheaper.

If you buy $75 worth you get free shipping, which must kill their margins and then some. Someone should try ordering 35 gallons of windshield washer fluid.

I think you just found a loophole they don't know about. Like how for a year, a stunningly long time, you could buy sale stuff, even ATF, with coupon codes stacked on top.

They disallow coupons on some things now especially discounted oil.

They do though run ATF offers now and again.

Ha - washer fluid is actually store pick up only (at least that's what shows for me). I've tried to ship it before because I've needed something to tack on $2 to an order to get over free shipping or a coupon code.

but I needed some driveway patch that I ordered from HD 5 40lb pails, ended up shipping via a freight carrier from FL to NY. I was pretty curious what that bill looked like but never found out.
