Not that I'm in the market for a new vehicle or at least not that my wife knows. Anyway, what is the best way to utilize A-Rx on a brand new vehicle?

My thought is to use an MD the moment you drive it off the lot and with every oil change from that time on. If this is done will the vehicle ever require a full cleaning application?

Wow, that really makes new care maintenance a breeze. This also potentially eliminates the need for premium (synthetic) oil and possibly extend OCI's.

Autorx doesn't change the chemistry of an oil, it just removes or prevents sludge. If you want an extended OCI, I'd still use premium synthetic. No harm using Autorx with a synthetic either, I run MD with M1 and decided to go 7500 OCi's in my 07.

The components of assembly lube that are found in engine oil that may be though of by some as break-in oil has finished its job by the time you take over. This assembly lube is important for start up but is of limited use afterwords. Auto-Rx would be useful right off the bat. If assembly lube was really useful it would be used on a routine basis but it's not. Between the assembly lube and contamination from the assembly you would start life with a cleaner engine.

A-Rx should only be used as an MD on a new vehicle. No need for a full cleaning phase. Not that it would do any harm. Sounds like the ideal maintenance plan.

I wish I could afford the new vehicle. lol

Buy late model salvage, depending on mechanic the condition is close to 100%, just get carfax to make sure it was not flooded. Every car I (and my family) owned was/is this way. Resale value sux, but if it is for yourself - not a big deal.
I picked up 07 Scion tC with 1300 miles this way a LOT below what dealership charged for 06 with 5k

Oh eah - maintenance dose of ARX is going in it at 2000 miles (will hit it tomorrow/day after and change to PP until 5k, then Amsoil)

I just bought a 04 sebring coupe with only 80 miles on it. RX is going in at 1,000 miles. I have been using MD or rx on all my cars. I believe that the MD is where RX really excels.
