So I was bored today and I decided to waste some money for my own personal internet and science too hahah. Also while I plan on staying OEM I wanted to see other options for my car.

Live in Canada. Al these filters fit corollas, Prius, rav4, and more.

The Motomaster MPH4967 was $7.50 before taxes and fees and that’s Canadian

The Motomaster MOPH4967 was $12.50

The Fram XG4967 was $13.50

Lately the Castrol CAS4386 was $16.00

DISCLAIMER I am a total novice and am happy to be corrected on any mistakes I make in my next few sentences.

As far as I can tell. The motomaster red can is a 50 cent cheaper gram Extra Guard consider the PH4967 is $8.00

The Motomaster OEPlus and the Castrom oil filter appear to be identical and one should save money and not buy the Castrol option.

Lastly the Fran Ultra Guard looked like a normal new version filter. My choice if I ran a deal. If not a titanium.

The base motomaster even says on the box it’s silicone it was black and I didn’t do a burn test. But I have my doubts. Probably the same supply chain issues effecting the fram PH 4967 as they’re all black at my Canadian tire now too.

I didn’t go crazy and get every angle but overall the filter is on display hope some people find it Useful. Regard.

Nice write up. I see myself buying OEPlus filters next time they're on sale. I think it's a Champ Laboratories made filter?

Thanks.
Yes Sir I believe you are indeed correct.

And wow I had lots of spelling mistakes dang.. wish the edit feature lasted longer lol. Sorry all that is hard on my eyes and I'm the author...

All it takes is a match or a lighter and 15 seconds.

UPDATE

I was just looking at my receipt because I bought a couple of each filter just in case I messed up one opening it, taking back the Castrol and Red Can Motomaster.

HOWEVER, I made a MISTAKE, the The Motomaster OEPlus MOPH4967 is ACTUALLY $11.00

MAKING IT $5 CHEAPER! than the Castrol... so ya... there's that.

The pleat seam on that cheaper Motomaster looks a bit wonky.
