6L80 TECHM pressure switch membrane repair

DIY this recently to my 07 Yukon Denali 6L80 w/193k miles. Shifts normally again.

I couldn't tell a difference?? Call Sonnax.

They should probably be changed preemptively every 100k miles.

I agree that changing these membranes is a good inexpensive way to fix the problem. I only wonder if the aftermarket has made improvements in either the materials or the design of the seal edge shape so that the punching out of the membrane inner circle is less likely as the transmission ages. I can also accept that if these membranes can't be improved then there is a good result just by replacing at a mileage interval.
