Well Pop Tart, if you read the post you would notice the highway portion was better than the Parkway, and the point was that it should be able to achieve 40mpg with some regularity. But then, it seems you enjoy complaining about everything.

JHZR2, I hope you are quoting GVWR for the 135. If not, how is it heavier than my 335i sedan? Porky convertibles.
 
Unfortunately, Mazda might go away like Studebaker if they can't partner up with somebody. They loss money the last 3-4 years and need economy of scale. per an article in one of the car magazines.

They're still in better shape than Suzuki and Mitsubishi. They sell about as many cars in the US as Subaru does. But Subaru is partnered with Toyota.

Dissolving the Ford/Mazda partnership was, in my opinion, a misstep.
