3000 Miles: takes you how long to get there?

1.5 months for me.
Takes me about 4-6 months usually, depending on if I take any long road trips or not
Depends before moving to Texas it would take me about 3 months since moving to Texas im at 5500 miles in almost 7 months. Now that im looking for a home further away from work it may get back to 3 months.

well, since i don't really go anywhere outside of my home area, and most of my trips are usually 10 miles or less one way, this could take me while. let's see, i usally put on about 300 miles on a "tank" of gas (I say "tank" b/c i don't let it go empty, and usually put in 13.3 gals in a 15.2 gal tank) and it depends on how i drive; usually about 2 wks or so to rack up those ~300 miles.
My gas mileages record shows 9495 km per year, so I would say about 6 months for 3000 miles.

Oilbabe, her 2002 Camry now has 172K on the clock. So she is ticking off 3K in about 5-6 weeks. I change her oil every 5K.
My work ride a 213K mile Geo Prism was accumulating mileage at about the same rate, but now at about 1K/month, so every three months currently. I'm on the 5K or 4 month OCI with that ride as well.
Likewise for my 2006 Scion tC. About 1K/month OCI every 5K or 6 months.

I would probably go 3-4 months andd chane out the oil in your moms whip depending on the oil used. Take it out once a week and drive it at steady highway speeds for about 20-25 minutes if possible.
My mom's 2005 Cavalier (purchased 11-04) hasn't hit 3000 yet. Current odo is 2,554. The thing is literally driven only to church and the grocery store. She's 86, so the low mileage is understandable. The oil gets changed every 6 months by the dealer.
