2022 Vw Gti

I had a 2013 and 2019...fun cars. Mine always had a third pedal. Here's the 2013 next to it's great grandfather. :ROFLMAO: Added bonus for the OP, this was taken in Robinson Township! Solid picture from the S3 - one of the best phones of all time.

Thats the thing with todays cars, so many are silver white and black. Sometimes crazy colors just work because you never see them
Any when you do see them, you REALLY notice them.
Safety is another issue that's common overlooked.

I'm pretty sure that's not a Rabbit. It's something far worse and I owned one once. That square fuel door is one clue as are the wheels, the Rabbit had a round fuel cap.

it is...the car next to it is the Golf...I believe there was some VW in that Omni/Horizen IIRC...(engine parts, transmission, and...)

Bill
Initially they bought engines from VW (which my '79 had), that was the best part of the vehicle. The only problem with them was that the valve stem seals were defective and required replacement, VW paid for that on the Rabbit but Plymouth did not. I replaced them myself in about 1981 and cured the oil consumption I was experiencing. Later on Chrysler used their own engine and ceased purchasing them from VW.

Nice! A lot of fun for sure. Let us know how you like the haptic controls.
I actually like them, they have some tactile feel when you push them. Weve had smart phones for so long touch buttons are easy to use lol.
The radio controls will take some getting used to but everything else with the infotainment is awesome.

Hell yeah! Love getting group photos of the family

Hard to believe there’s only a $6000 difference between this and the Golf R.

Really makes a GTI seem overpriced.

So this was $38,000.00?

$38,500 before destination and little goodies like floor mats and garage link.
The cheapest R I was offered was $49,800

.
I'd take the GTI and pass on the R even if they were the same money.
The GTI is less stiff, not as loud, just less obtrusive, more liveable. The
GTI is as quick in daily driving (almost same torque numbers, but less
weight), even feels noticeably more nimble (again weight) and is more
fuel efficient. It offers more space in the luggage compartment. I also
do prefer red accents over blue. Let's not forget it comes with tartan
seats and a Golf ball if it's a stick. I'm too old to always want more and
more power. Some things fit as they are and you don't need more of it.

a good value without anything added + myself its ONLY 3 pedals!!! the electronic controlled front differential is said to be better, but AWD is best BUT way too much $$$$$ for the R. no comment on the Stinger as i like them as well!!
