This is for a sample taken back in Sept. Since then, it's had one OCI on Valvoline XL-III 5W-30, and it currently has M1 ESP 5W-30 (almost due for another change, which I intend to use OA to analyze since they supposedly offer better fuel dilution measurements).

Was there any engine oil consumption?
There was a little when I changed it (< 0.5qt if I were to guess looking at the dipstick). I found that the oil starts to really darken at around ~3.2K miles and that seems to be where where the consumption starts. This is another reason I'm keeping OCIs to < 4K miles on this engine going forward.
I plan to run HPL EC in the upcoming OCI, followed by a couple of OCIs on HPL (5W-30/5W-40 1:1 mix) to see if that addresses the issue.
I had the dealership run BG PN261 intake valve and combustion chamber cleaner last week as well. Incidentally, the car is now still at the dealership because the coolant is brown :/ I'm hoping it's just rust and nothing more serious.
