This is the second one year run i've done on Amsoil 0W-20 SS. (sample 1 and sample 2). Magnetic drain plug used. Fram XG4967 filter. A lot of short trips (11 km one way to work).

Amsoil says that you need to change their oil at least once per year. The double interval was just an unusual amount of highway driving I needed to do during the last cycle. I'm now only doing about half of that per year.

They flagged year 2023 Boron for being low and it's twice the reading of the 1st Sample of 2022.
Silicon and Iron have dropped. Less Fuel Dilution this OCI and viscosity still dropped a full number from the 1st Sample (8 to 7).... hmmm
Was there a-lot more city driving this time? Or maybe the base oil changed from Sample-1 to Sample 2.

Oil Analyzers doesn't seem to understand about carryover. I have seen several reports where they flag a high or low number and it's obvious that the previous oil change is influencing the current results.
