My new odyssey has 2,507 miles. Went to the dealer today to check something and they changed the oil by accident! I told them they should not have removed the FF so early (60% life left on the MM), but I have no recourse. They claim to use genuine honda oil in bulk, but could not prove it me not that it matters anyway because it won't have the break-in fluid. Any thoughts on what I should do? Don't worry about it and drive the car?

Yes, just drive it and don't worry. Lots of Hondas survive an early FF change. Plus check your manual: I recall somewhere here it was noted the admonition to keep the FF in for a long time was removed from the 2013 manual.

As long as they didn't charge me for the oil change, I wouldn't worry about. I'd actually feel really good about, but then I'm a proponent for early changes. In either case, I don't think the Honda will fret about it.

+1

No work should ever be performed on your vehicle without your permission. IF the LOF was mistakenly performed in advance of your knowledge, then I would have them give you an IOU for a free LOF in the future.

I agree, but would not be surprised if Honda added a little inexpensive MoS2 to the oil in the engine assembly / test plant. Factory fill might also be a 0W-16 fluid and we just know that - yet.
