$95.00, friend provided the Genuine Toyota water pump and the coolant.

No unusual noises from the water pump that my friend can remember.

Just turned off while driving

Car is running great now

Older cars I know would just overheat and melt the heads. ... Nice to see modern stuff turning the engine off automatically when overheating. I know my Ford hybrid warns of things like transmission gears overheating, but I wonder what kind of overheating automatically shuts down the entire system (battery overheating, engine overheating, etc.). Hope I never find out.
