My 05 Corolla will pass 200k miles in the Spring and I'm think about a used oil analysis after that. I bought it new so there's no question about maintenance history. I'm currently using Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30/P1 filter on a 14k OCI (7k on filter).

I plan to get TBN and TAN measured to check my OCI. I'm anxious though to get results that may show there's an issue with the engine. Is there anything to be concerned about for a used oil analysis based on the car's miles? I'd be upset to find out my OCI is good, but...

Since I made it this far should I just keep doing what got me here and skip the used oil analysis?

Should upgrade your filter to a Purolator synthetic, napa platinum,, fram ultra, bosch distance plus, or Mobil 1 filter. Cost would be the same or cheaper as using 2 P1 and save you time by only using 1 filter. Less oil filters you have to use the less the chance of having a potential oil filter problem.

That's my plan once I use up the 3 P1 filters I have stashed.

You said"I'm currently using Mobil 1 5w30 Extended Performance". What have you been using up to this point?

I'd get the UOA; I got one done on my !echo! @282K miles and it showed the engine is doing very well. 200K may only be 1/2 way done for your vehicle....

I've used M1, Amsoil, PP, now Mobil 1 Extended Performance. It's only seen synthetic. I started with 3k OCI and went to 5k-7k as I learned more about oil.

Don't waste your money. First, one used oil analysis is pretty much worthless; you need a trend and that takes years. Second, even if it comes out terrible there is little you can do to alter the high wear metals etc. Only time, IMO, a used oil analysis is worthwhile is if you suspect a coolant issue. I have a binder full of used oil analysis on several vehicles until it hit me, makes no difference, even the one that had terrible used oil analysis the engine outlasted the rest of the vehicle with nothing being changed.

Interesting to look at but pretty much useless to the average driver. Just do your maintenance when scheduled and your engine will outlive the rest of the car. perhaps if you want to change the OCI but at this stage no trend line or history to look at. I would not bother changing your filter half way through either. My own test of 12,000 mile OCI and changing the filter half way though showed no difference in the used oil analysis. Save the hassle and money and change the filter and oil at the same time. Maybe upgrade to an extended mileage filter.
