2007 Jetta Max Life Syn. 5w30 A3 (7,769)

6 months of driving for my wife's Jetta. Many sort trips and 30min commutes also includes a 2,000 mile road trip this summer. Will run the current fill of M1 0w40 for 10k.

Nice run for a new engine. I would do 6 month 7-8k oci in Fall and Spring.

Was this the synthetic blend or the full synthetic?

This was the full synthetic version labeled A3, not energy star rated.

It was a great oil, now it seems to have been replaced by a A1 rated blend.

I had high aluminum readings on my 40k mile '06 Jetta 2.5. I believe it was reading 10 after a 10k run on Castrol Syntec 5W-40.

I am 5500 miles into my first run of Mobil 1 0W-40, plan on goin 10k so should have a report on that oil in the next 3-4 months or so.
