So looking at the owners manual for my new 2023 Equinox I see a note saying that the 1st tire rotation is the most important. (see screen grab) Why would that be true?
Maybe they figure that if there IS some unusual wear noticed, it'll be much easier to pinpoint the problem if is caught with the first rotation rather than several rotations later when it won't be as obvious which wheel has an issue.
The first 5k miles would be the most difficult to see abnormal tire wear.
