I might be wrong on this but I think this is the first thread on the shootings. That in itself says alot!! I wonder when someone orders 6,000 rounds of ammo in the future anybody will mention that fact??
I think imho, there are so many shootings in America these days that it may be boring to those who have never been in a shooting or we are growing numb to violence day by day. The old saying it will not happen to me comes to mind..but there are a lot of suffering families that it does happen to these days. Interesting how a loose fan belt or cylinder miss firing can get 50 + post on how to fix it and I'm a party to those kind of posting too. hmmm guilty by association.......................life goes on.

Exactly. Dozens, if not hundreds of people nation wide probably bought that much ammo this week, with no intention of engaging in an act of terrorism.

This was a crazy nut job that abused his freedoms to do evil. Freedom isn't free and it sure as heck isn't assured. The people that got shot had the freedom to go to a midnight movie. There safety was far from assured in that action.
They were far more likely to be killed in a car crash than gunned down in a movie theater.
