Anything you listed in the OP is easily good for 10k on its own.

As far as mixed we have plenty of opinions but no data. How about "doing one for BITOG" and sending in a UOA sample at 5k and leave it in? If it's no good you'll know in a week or two and can change. If it IS good you can go further. IMO 7k would be easy with those oils and your driving pattern.

You'll be fine with 10k on the 2AR-FE engine as long as its synthetic. Just check the level every so often. Keep that fram trash out of your engine and just use an OEM Toyota filter cartridge. I have the same engine as you do and 110,000 on it now and it runs fine on Pennzoil Platinum and the Toyota OEM filter, i drive 110 miles per day and then some on the weekends. I've put 25000 miles o n it since September and have had zero issues other than replacing a battery.

I agree about the mixing. OP where in NY do you live? I'm on Long Island and there is no way I'd do a 10K OCI with any oil under the conditions we drive and the traffic we typically sit in. You say you do 17K miles a year, I'd try 2 OCI's a year get a UOA and work your OCI off of that.

Why 5K?

Below is from Toyota Owners website...

https://auth3.toyota.com/owners/faqs

Only Toyota vehicles in which 0w-20 synthetic oil is required (except for the 2TR-FE and 3UR-FBE Engines*) have been approved for extended oil change intervals of 10,000-miles/12-months. (However, you should continue to check the oil level regularly and top off if needed. That will help your engine get the full benefit of synthetic oil.)

Vehicles in which 0w-20 is an option to 5w-20 mineral oil, (or 5w30), will continue to require 5,000-mile/6-month oil change intervals, even if 0w-20 oil is used.

In the case of vehicles with 10,000 mile oil change intervals, the 5,000 mile service interval has not been eliminated. The traditional 5,000 mile maintenance procedures (such as tire rotation) will continue to be required, and the fluid levels (such as brake fluid) will need to be checked and adjusted at this time.

If the vehicle operation meets the standard criteria for "Special Operating Conditions" such as: driving off-road, on dirt roads, towing a trailer, making repeated short trips under 32˚ F, or extensive idling; the engine oil must be replaced at 5,000 mile intervals, regardless of what type of oil is used.

*The 2TR-FE (4Runner / Tacoma) and the 3UR-FBE (Flex Fuel Tundra / Sequoia) are the exceptions to this new change interval program; these engines have not been approved for the 10,000 mile interval at this time. A 5,000-mile/6-month oil change interval is still required for these vehicles. Also, the Flex Fuel 3UR-FBE requires a 2,500 mile interval when operated on E85.

Call the salvage yard and have them reserve a spot for your car.

Do you really believe that?

It depends on the engine.

I've gone at least 10,000 miles in both my Accord and my ECHO between changes. Are you saying I should call now, or wait a few more miles?

Interesting. I can't get into that page at the moment, but I have pdf's of my manuals here.

My manual says:
Quote:
Recommended viscosity: SAE 0W20

SAE 0W-20 is the best choice for good fuel economy and good starting in cold weather.

If SAE 0W-20 is not available, SAE 5W-20 may be used. However, it must be replaced with 0W-20 at the next oil change.

Annoyingly, I can't find change interval in the manual. You'd think it'd be in the section with the motor oil type required.

Maintenance schedule calls for 10k OCI's. This is for both my 2010 4.6L Tundra and my 2011 2.5L Camry. The schedule says:

Quote:
For VEHICLES CERTIFIED FOR 0W20 motor oil, the oil change interval is 10,000 miles or 12 months IF 0W20 IS BEING USED. If 0W20 is not available, 5W20 mineral oil may be used. However it must be replaced at a 5,000 miles or 5 month interval with 0W20 oil.

For VEHICLES NOT CERTIFIED FOR 0W20 motor oil, the oil change interval does not change. It remains 5,000 miles or 6 months, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER 0W20 MOTOR OIL IS BEING USED.

Because the Fram Ultra might be the best filter for the $$$ around. Mine is not "fancy"...and cost less than $9 at WalMart.....and its guaranteed foe 15K.

I buy OEM's for under $4 shipped online. And Toyota says they are good to 10k; and as per my thread about what to see in a used filter, they appear just fine after 10k.

And apparently once you stop using 0W20 then you're stuck at a 5k OCI, which means no fancy filter is required. Assuming you buy that line, that is.

That leaves us wondering what would be an appropiate interval with synthetic 5W-20.
