0W-30 Chevron Delo 400 Syn HDEO

Has anyone seen virgin or UOA's on this Chevron 0w30? I've tried searching but couldn't find anything.

Delo 400 IMO is arguably the best non-synthetic HDEO out there. Period.

I've seen the synthetic stuff at Costco Business Centers before but I had plenty of oil in stock so I didn't purchase...

I tried like crazy to get this stuff last year about this time. I made well over a dozen calls, followed up with distributors that Chevron's corporate answer line gave me ... and nuttin.

An 0w30 HDEO is a bit overkill in this neck of the woods ... but I'm a BITOGer and 'overkill' is the norm.

This year? I'm gonna use Penz Plat 5W-20 in my Honda. I have about 20 quarts of the stuff ... might as well use it.

I think Chevron Delo is one of the best HDEO's out there as well. I only use others out of morbid curiosity- Delo is my mainstay. I also have some Schaeffer's...

Chevron in the westend didn't have it and it'll take them a month to order it in. UFA doesn't have it either, same with the other number I got. Seems to be around $9/L which is too much IMO.

Just run the Esso then. If I had to choose between two 0W30's, those two (Esso and Chevron would be my two choices.

Looks like that's what will be going in the gf's G35. The Chevron was for a friends Envoy since it needs a slightly thinner oil, but he'll have to go for PP 5w30 for an Amsoil product.
