Unfortunately I'm in a jam, and need the car back for a weekend trip. I just had these guys do the PA inspection and asked for a tire quote. Since it passed inspection, they didn't even push new tires, and told me to bring it back before winter. This time, the owner called me to tell me to explain they have gotten burned in the past (sued actually) installing customer parts. He wasn't a jerk about it - just his rule.
I'm not happy about it - but I don't have another choice - my regular guy was booked and I don't bring him enough work to ask for a favor to fit me in.
They charged me $150 which is cheaper than the rental car I would need for the trip. I'll probably just put my Honda parts back on and scrap what they used. Learning experience I guess.
