I have access to a FTIR PerkinElmer SpectrumOne machine. What calibration is required? What wavenumber range should I be looking at?

I sent samples of the same oil to both Blackstone and Dyson Analysis. Blackstone's report showed fuel dilution at I believe Dyson uses the FTIR method.
