I had a Gremlin back in the day. It leaked so much oil buying it from a salvage yard would have been the ticket. Really if you think about it, all the money and care you worry about in a vehicle goes to some putz you don't know that buys it.

I do the tensioners at 100k too. Belts every 3 years. My GM vehicle has 2 serpentine belts, I wonder who's the Einstein that though of that. Should be one.

All they have to do it chech the enable avatar box on the Admin side of the forum. Not sure why you would want to lock that out, it's part of the fun of a forum.

I just saw a video of an engine running 7 min's without any oil in it at all, it changed my whole look about changing the oil.

They used to give out a lot of nice giveaways, not sure now, one booth did a dif f screwdriver every day, another a wrench, I remember the busiest booth was a pressure washer booth, a sweet girl in panties would stand there in heels and spray into a small plexi box, I watched for hours.

If you like BBQ, check out Wood Pile, (14 & Main st, Clawson) not far from 14 & I 75, best I ever had, their burn ends and brisket is just awesome, plus when it's warm, there's a nice Outdoor bar area, it's enclosed for the cool weather but it's not the same then.

I use factory, even the case is heavier than the Fram, a factory tech told me no on Fram's. In. Y GM I use AC Delco there too. Had the oil pan off my 1978 for repainted and a new gasket, the inside of the engine was clean, Valvoline and a Delco filter all those years.

I say head down for one of the two press days, plenty of free food and drinks everywhere. Forget the Reg show. As you can see it's pretty empty, you can actually look at what you want to see, the people mover was empty too. Way better.
