Don't care for the new guy or the way the show devolved. Seems like it's been dumbed down as far as the technical aspects go. Too bad as it was an interesting show before the change.

Been shopping for the same thing - non-turbo, port injection V6. Only one I can find is the Ford Explorer with the 3.5l Ti-VCT V6 but this is the last year for that engine in the Explorer.

Saw the list. Thanks. Strange that not even the Motorcraft 5w40 is on the approved list. I think I'm gonna go back to the Motorcraft 10w30 that it came with for the next oil change. Should be just fine for my use (no heavy towing) and it's on the 'approved' list.

OK, so I've been reading all the various posts about oil for the 6.7 Powerstroke and I gotta admit that, at this point, I am totally confused. Selecting an oil used to be pretty straight forward - correct grade and spec and either syn or non-syn. Now not so much. I have a 2015 SD with the 6.7...

Thanks guys. Just looking for some options and it sounds like the Motorcraft is as good as any. Was running the Motorcraft 10w30 before switching to a full synth (TDT) and it was probably all the truck needed but I've always used full synth in all my vehicles so will look around for a deal...

Getting near time for an oil change on my 2015 Ford 6.7. I'm currently running Mobil TDT but that is not always easy to find around here so wondering how the Motorcraft 5w-40 Full Syn compares. Any thoughts? Tx.

Thanks. I'm getting the impression that Mobil TDT is a marketing exercise more than a better product. I'll keep this in mind at the next oil change time and go with Delvac instead.
