    Chamberlain tractor pto clutch oil

Hi all, We bought a Chamberlain countryman 6100 with a perkins 6.354 engine. We have changed all the oils on the tractor except for the pto clutch oil. It says it needs: C.J.D. ASD PTO OIL Part No 65159. I have googled this but to no avail. Being a tractor from the 60's, its hard to find info on...

    Briggs and Stratton Lubrication

I am tossing up between 2 HDEO oils for a Briggs and Stratton L-Head (Side Valve) engine. I am looking for an all year suitable oil. I have access to Delo Silver 30W and Delo 400 15W-40. Our temperatures vary from 0°C to +40°C throughout the year. I am leaning towards the 15W-40 for cold...

Hello bitog members, Today my vehicle in question is a 1992 Suzuki Sierra/Samurai with 1.3L petrol engine. The manual says 10w40 or 20w50 in summer. And has to be minimum API SL. It is currently running Mobil Semi-Syn 10W-40. Caltex (Chevron) Delo400 MG 15W-40 is a diesel oil that meets API CI4...

    Stihl Blower Fuel Mixture

Hi BITOG members, Today I got given a Stihl Blower, with an unusual take on the fuel mixing. It states: "If using Stihl Oil, mix at 50:1, if using any other brand mix at 25:1". The problem I have is I generally mix 50:1 only, mainly for my edger, but I use BP 2 stroke oil. What makes Stihl Oil...

    Yamaha TTR oil?

I have a Yamaha TTR125L (01 Model) that has never been serviced as it has a barely been ridden. The oil is still clear, but it's time to change it. It's got YamaLube 20W40 Mineral in it. It is a bit sluggish to kick over in winter too. It may be the 20W. Temperatures here in summer can reach...

UTTO (Tractor Transmission Oil) in Gearbox?

Hi, My Holden Rodeo Gearbox and Transfer Case call for the same oil as the engine, or SAE 5W-30. I'm using 15W-40 in the engine. If I use Penrite Tractor Transmission Oil, SAE 10W-30/75W-80, would I see any bad effects? At least it's an oil designed for gearboxes, and still meets SAE 10W-30. It...

    Delo 400 for transmissions?

My Holden Rodeo Gearbox and Transfer Case calls for the same oil as in the engine, or SAE 5W-30. Since I'm using 15W-40 (Delo400 Multigrade) in my engine, would it still be suitable for my gearbox? My main question is will the performance of the gearbox change using 15W-40 as opposed to 5W-30?

    Looking for 10w40 mineral oil

In Australia, I am having great difficulty finding a 10W-40 mineral (non synthetic) engine oil. 10W40 is the recommended viscosity for my car, and a synthetic would do more damage than good due to the motors age. They don't sell Castrol GTX 10w40 and Shell 10w40 is semi synthetic.
