So I've read several times here that Calcium can in essence inhibit Zddp in an engine oil from really working properly, effectively making the oil behave like an oil that had less Zddp than it actually has.
I just randomly the other day stumbled upon a Uoa of an oil that i've used in the past...
I've only seen this kind of greenish hue in Group 1 oils i've used, and not even as strong as this.
This brand is owned by the SCT group, who also own Mannol , Fanfaro etc which are fairly popular low cost oil brands in Europe.

Last month i ordered some Koni Sport a.k.a Koni Yellow front struts for my 75 Capri to replace the tired 25 year old Monroes it had at the front ( it's had Konis at the rear for almost 30 years now ).
They're the adjustable compress to adjust type, but no matter how i try, one of them is always...
Just in time for my birthday tomorrow i just got an email saying i passed my final exam to be come a certified Car AC system technician, here in Spain you have to be a certified technician to legally be allowed to work on Car AC systems, you can't even buy refrigerant if you're not a certified...
x1 208L of Classic 7 10W-40
x1 208L of Classic 9 C2-C3 5W-30
x1 208L of Quartz INEO C3 5W-40

Last year the throttle cable snapped on my 1988 Ford Escort XR3i, i was about 12 miles from home and i managed to use a zip tie to "jam" the throttle at around 3000rpm, varying speed exclusively by downshifting or upshifting, i made it home!
Despite the fact that hundreds if ot thousands of people on this forum have used HDEOs in their gas engines, one recurring argument i see on many threads is that apparently HDEOs, even if they are dual rated, don't like high RPMs and can foam at high RPMs... is there any truth to that?
