    18k miles on oil, twin turbo DI, under valve cover pics

    Pulled the valve covers to change springs, stem seals, retainers & locks. No sludge & zero timing chain wear/stretch, go figure. And all that with approx 2% fuel dilution. Pics are a couple years old, just thought I'd share.

    Amsoil ADN 10w30

    Morning. Who has tried Amsoil ADN 10w30, and how would it compare to ACD on a year round light duty 5.9 Cummins 12v ? -35c to 45c, mixed city/hwy, no towing, occasionally haul the odd 1600lb-2000lb drivetrain. Thanks.

    cold weather ATF for old Chrysler tranny

    I've used the PAO/full synthetic Amsoil signature series multi rated ATF on every Chrysler tranny I've had except the RE series - ATF+4 eliminated the shudder on those. Based on that, Amsoil ATF, even though it has a +4 rating, must be closer to Dex properties. My tranny builder suggests Dex...

    Any thoughts on ACD & HDD

    Hi, new here. Pros/cons of HDD or ACD on the first 2 vehicles in my signature vs AMO ? They will be operated in -40 to 110 or so, mixed city/highway, everyday. User experiences and balanced views please, not interested in stirring up an oil war on my first post. Regards.
