    '98 Regal GS odometer display

She's 16+ years old, but only has 164800 miles. The display that illuminates the odometer and transmission function beneath the speedometer has gone dark. Is that a fuse or a light bulb - and is it an easy fix? Thanks folks - for any insight you can shed! Tom

CS4s or RT43s for my van?

"Cooper and Generals just don't last." Weird. I just put 70,000 miles on a set of CS4s, and there might have been another 5000 on 'em. I'd have gotten another set for my T&C if I hadn't gotten such a deal on a set of Hankook Optimo H727s. The Coopers will be a great match with your van.

Firestone Precision Touring vs.Cooper CS-4 Touring

I had a set of CS4s on my van and they were excellent - had 70,000 on 'em when I put on a set of Hankook Optimo H727s. They have been every bit as good as the Coopers and are quieter as well. Thought about the Firestones, but got a better deal on the Optimos. I recommend either the Coopers or...

    Finally installed the Hankooks

"Those are an OEM tire for several Korean cars, yes?" Not the 727s. The OEMs are 724s and 725s - much lower quality. Tire Rack ratings had these second to the Michelins - for about $40 per tire less. So far, I'm a believer. My alignment is rue due to just having had the struts done - but the...

    Finally installed the Hankooks

Back in march it looked like I had about 5,000 miles left on my Cooper CS4s, so I went ahead and got a set of Optimo H727s through Discount Tire Direct. 15,000 miles later, and I still couldn't get the Coopers to wear out, but they were finally close enough that I didn't feel like a dope for...

    Tire Buying Time.

Can't tell you much about handling in the snow, but I can't get the set of CS4s on my van to wear out. Approaching 70,000 miles now. Great wet and dry traction, super handling.

Low Coolant light '98 Regal GS

The "Low Coolant" light just started coming in in my wife's Regal. A quick check shows the coolant level is fine. Could it be the sensor? Where is the sensor/sending unit on a 98 Regal GS? Thanks!

    Tires for 2006 Grand Caravan

Michelins are darned expensive even with the rebate. I've had Cooper CS4s on my T&C, and they've performed admirably - 67,000 miles so far and I can't get 'tm to wear out so I can install the hankook Optimo H727s I got delivered for $285. They're 100,000 mile rated and came out overall nearly...

Cooper CS4 quality vs Yokohoma Avid Ascend

I have 215-70-15 Cooper CS4s on my Town & Country, and they've been superb. 65,000 on them now, and not a single problem - worn evenly, great traction wet or dry and great road feel. They won't make 80,000 like they're rated, they're getting pretty close to the wear-marks now. Very good tires -...

06 Town & Country: hot air from under dash

The recalibration seems to have made a big difference - not completely fixed, but FAR better. Thanks again, meep! I'm gonna do the recal again this afternoon.

06 Town & Country: hot air from under dash

Yikes - sounds pretty involved. I will check it out - appreciate very much the heads up on the location of things there! The recirc itself seems to be operating properly - I get good flow through the center vents. It's just very hot air circulating on the floor from within the center console.

06 Town & Country: hot air from under dash

Having a strange problem with my 06 Chrysler Town & Country. First - in the mornings, the AC blows super cold. But if I shut it down after it's warmed up, the AC usually won't get as cold (sometimes it does...). Then, when I use the "recirculate" system, it gets perfectly cold, but it starts...
