This Pure 1 came off my 02 Impala, 4.3 v6, 4000 miles on the filter and oil, Havoline syn oil. It looked to be in very good shape to me. The ADBV is torn, but the media had no holes in it, looked to be OK.

Does anyone know what the long version of the Fram PH3387A would be, or the AC PF47? I want to try the longer one b/c the short one is hard to get to if you are a DIY like I am. thanks

This was taken off my son's 2000 Focus zx3. Oil was M1, I don't know the mileage, but he doesn't drive a lot, so I'd say around 7K.

I have an 02 Impala with 3.4 engine. It requires 4.3 qts and the person put in 5 qts. If it is over filled, shouldn't I get splash and low enough oil pressure to make the light come on? Or, if I drive it and pull the stick, shouldn't I see air bubbles on the oil stick? As of yet, I have not seen...

My impala uses a Fram PH3387A. Is there another one that I can use that is a little bigger than this tiny filter?

This is a regular FRAM that I had on my '02 impala. It also has about 3,500 on it. I know Frams take a lot of heat on the board, but I've used them for a long long time, and I don't have any complaints with them. I don't run my filters as long as some on here do, but, I like the FRAMs.

This filter came off my 2002 Impala. The motor has 71000, it is a 3.4 v6. I ran the filter for about 3,500 miles with havoline 5w30. I know 3,500 is not a lot for most of the readers, but I'm still old school, and I like the 3k to 4k runs.

I have a Dodge with a 2.7 v6 engine, and it has 140,300 miles on it. The oil filler cap calls for 5w20. I have some Valvoline Durablend that is 5w30. With warmer weather coming in (I hope anyway), it should be OK to run the 5w30, correct?
