Motul RBF 600 Brake fluid for daily driver

It is time to flush the brake fluid in my daily driver (1999 Acura TL). In the past I've used Valvoline Synpower or Castrol LMA. However a friend of mine can get me Motul RBF 600 at cost ($9/500 ml) and I'm considering using it. I know that this fluid is marketed towards track use and is way...

I'm very confident in my Unifilter's ability to filter. Check out my UOA using a Unifilter UOA

In general do you get what you pay for?

Not necessarily. As SSdude stated, Chevron Supreme is a great dino at a really low price. I bought it for $0.69/qt. It's as cheap as $0.59/qt if bought in 5 gal jugs. You can look at my UOA and see that it's a pretty good performer...

    Seafoam in transmission??

He's not using the additive. I guess he had some leftover Seafoam that he had used on his engine and wants to use it on his AT.

    Seafoam in transmission??

Some guy in another forum was thinking about putting Seafoam in his Acura Auto transmission. I said I had never heard of anyone doing such a thing. Just want to know what people think could happen if he does this?? I've recommended Auto-Rx and Lube Control, but he seems **** bent on trying Seafoam.

    Chevron 10W-30 - 94 Acura Integra 1.8L - 4,844 mi

Thanks. When I tell people that I use a $0.69/qt oil and a $1.99 filter, they think I'm crazy. But after this UOA, I think I've proved them wrong.

    Chevron 10W-30 - 94 Acura Integra 1.8L - 4,844 mi

This car has seen mainly highway miles since I got it at about 85K miles. It was my college commuter car and now my daily commuter car to work. It sees about 100 highway miles a day.

    Super Tech bad experience

I'll agree with others, that normal wrenches don't work on ST filters. The one that I bought for the 3593A filter is too lose. But I just use a strap wrench now without any problems.

Didn't get a TBN on this analysis. But I will probably get one on my next one.

    good buffer

I have a Porter Cable 7424 and I absolutley love it. If you're looking to spend around $120, you can get a 7424 from Coastal Tool . However, you'll still need to get a velcro backing plate and you should also get a 6" counterweight too. I know this will cost over a $120 and more like $160+ but...

What fluid for a 96 Integra?

On a similar note, has anyone used Zerex G-05 in their Honda/Acuras? I'm due for a coolant change soon and am thinking about using it.

    Fuel Power vs. Neutra 131

Like John Browning said, 131 can be used in both fuel and in your oil. However, I am currently using the "MBF" (Molabrew Fuel) mixture as a fuel additive. Its a 3:1 ratio of Fuel Power/131 respectively. I apply it at 1 oz for every 5 gallons of gas. When I used 131 in oil, I put 1oz per quart...

I've used it with my PC. I think the key to using Scratch X or any polish is generating enough heat.

    Silicone Drying Blades?

I used a California Water Blade (CWB) for the last year or so, without any problems. What I did was wipe down the blade after every pass. I also alternated which side of the blade I use. However, now I use waffle weave towels to dry my car, but still use the CWB for my windows.
