Yeah - reminding this for myself Oh yes - most definately. I'm throwing the towel in and will continue again later.

Front rotors, Lexus RX350. I am just as amazed as you are.

Defeated...Brake rotor separated from rotor hat during hammering....

Yeah - the outer ring (which I can't get off) and then the inner hat, which is still completely stuck on to the hub. Don't have an air hammer, but I do have a sledge I can try. I also peaked at the other side (passenger front) and it looks similar. I think I might throw the towel in and just...

Defeated...Brake rotor separated from rotor hat during hammering....

This is what happened today as I prepared to do a rotor change after getting all the parts in. A part of this problem seems to be that these are OEM rotors with 100k miles on them in the New England. Here is what I have done.. I have a dead blow hammer, M8 screws, torch, as well as a huge ass...

    Mazda TSB for 2.5T Engines

The low oil light turned on at about 3800mile after I took delivery. Added 1 quart. Changed oil at 4800mile. Oil light came on again at 7500 mile and I took it into the dealer. The topped it off and I am now at 10k mile and will be changing oil soon. Will check level again.

    Mazda TSB for 2.5T Engines

I hope they have a fix soon. My CX-30 Turbo has been in once already for the low oil issue.

    New Mazda 2.5T oil consumption?

Update to the thread as my appointment was today. Service advisor topped it off as it was 1qt low (knew that already). They did say that Mazda knows this is a problem but they don't have a fix yet. Right now it's going to be in the monitor phase and report back when it's low again. (my guess in...

    New Mazda 2.5T oil consumption?

I did not check regularly. The only time I pulled the dipstick was when the light turned on (at 3800miles)

    New Mazda 2.5T oil consumption?

I've got about 3.5 weeks until my appointment. Should I just top up with 1/2 a quart or so and then just monitor for the 3.5 weeks or just leave it.

    New Mazda 2.5T oil consumption?

It does have a dipstick. Thank goodness. The dipstick level does show it at the min level when the light comes on. I'm going to keep an eye on it and see until it gets to the dealer.

    New Mazda 2.5T oil consumption?

I'd say probably 80% or driving are short trips, under 20 miles in total. In termms of when the light comes on - yes. That is my understand that the light is on and if you look at the manual, it says to add 1L as it's getting to the minimum oil level.

    New Mazda 2.5T oil consumption?

Looking to see thoughts as I just made an appointment with the dealer and the earliest they are able to get me in is in at the end of the month. I have a brand new 2021 CX-30 Turbo with about 7500 miles on it. When I first got the car(20 miles), the low oil light turned on at about 3800mile...

    New CX-30 Turbo 2.5T Oil 5W-30

I have finally purchased a new car and retired the 2005 Scion tC! I'm looking for recommendations as I drive this in New England as a daily driver. Owners manual recommends 5W-30. I've always used M1 5W-30, but I believe there are many new choices available such as the Kirkland brand. I have...

    Cordless Tool Family Recommendation (Makita/Milwaukee/etc)

I'm looking for some recommendations as I want to be on the lookout to invest in some cordless tools. The majority of my tools right now are either cheap HF wired ones such as reciprocating saw as well as a corded electric impact wrench, they work, but I can see the advantage of getting into an...
