I'm looking for the labs that do these tests cheaply. I see Amsoil and Blackstone at around $35. Maybe a local place would be cheaper or something I just haven't heard of yet...even like a tester that I can order to use at home.
I'm installing a remote external oil filter for my transmission, and I'm only seeing the Amsoil 2 micron filter which is $75. Anyone know of any cheaper options?

I haven't ever used or seen a tran temp gauge used. Also the remote oil filter needs to have the bypass valve in it in case something clogs...
