Are those places taking the filters too? I had tried to take oil and filters to my local Firestone, and while they would take the oil, they wanted to charge me to take the filter. I go a different place now and they take both.

I wouldn’t waste your money. Get a powerful blower and blow the stuff onto a large tarp that you can then use to transport the leaves to the compost heap. My cordless Milwaukee is good for driveway and sidewalk, but to get live oak leaves off of my lawn, I need my gas backpack unit.
With a BoF you can pretty much put stuff wherever on the rails. I will often jack and use stands as a a safety vs resting on the stands. Just depends what I’m working on.
I always document the condition of my rentals inside and out at pickup and drop off to avoid them doing this. And some damage is just wear and tear. I would think paint chips and such are unavoidable wear and tear.
