I've had one engine replaced under powertrain warranty and not once was I asked what oil brand, viscosity, oci or for any documentation.

Hope there is a mistake in the TBN reading. 9.01 is a far cry from 12.5 stated in their PDS. Thanks for sending this in for the VOA. I just changed my oil with bottles of the new formula in both 0w-20 and 5w-30 and was going to send in for a sample for a VOA but haven't got around to it yet.

I ordered out of Superior early-mid September and and got the new stuff in both 0W-20 and 5W-30. It has a new label so you know what you got.

I had been reading "exceeds dexos1 sulfated ash specifications" as it was better than the dexos1 spec called for. I guess because so much literature says "meets or exceeds".

Our Nox is a 4 cyl. GM has updated the OLM and 4's and V6 engines over the last couple years. Your 08 Impala is not Direct Injected is it?

Going by the updated OLM my wife's 2011 2.4 Equinox will not even get 3000 miles with her winter driving. At least not without a long highway trip. Evidently her 7-8 mile commute on cold days drops the OLM really fast. I'm curious how OLM drop rate changes with the warmer weather finally setting in.

I bought a M1 5w-30 jug. Went to use it next day and it was used oil so the scam does happen.

Should have 3 yr/36k bumper to bumper and 5/100k powertrain. I would stick to oils recommended by GM while still under powertrain warranty..

I still don't understand how you can have a warranty, that you are still under, that carries a $100 deductible yet you are looking at $600 out of pocket.
