I'm anal about maintenance intervals and could use the proper rated convential motor oil and not have a problem. I just like going beyond what is recommended and have a little bit of an edge against any kind of mechanical failure. The biggest concern is the 87 Ranger and the lawn equipment. They...

A far as application its a mixed bag but all Mobil...
I have been using Mobil 1 for many years but have recently been seeing Liqui Moly motor oil on store shelves. Liqui Moly is advertised as a German motor oil. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Liqui Moly or how it compares to Mobil 1.

It is so convenient for changes. Makes for quick work....just turn the valve....the design is simple and reliable...after all it's Japanese so you'll rest assured.

I'll see what happens when I do the next oil change. This was the first time I noticed bubbles in the pan. The pan was wiped clean before I started but maybe there was some residue left behind from the last time I used it. Engine runs fine with no unusual noises, loss of coolant or oil...
Did an oil change today on my 2008 Ford Expedition, with 37k miles on the odometer and 6k miles on the oil. Have been using Motorcraft 5w-20 synthetic blend motor oil since new. The oil level was a 1/2 quart low on the dipstick before I changed it. There is a Fumoto drain valve in lieu of the...
If you haven't already, you might want to treat the fuel with a stabilizer or fuel system conditioner and top off with fresh gas. I doubt if there has been any harm from setting. Before you put the vehicle back in service do an oil and filter change. The brake rotors and drums probably have a...
I bought several Motorcraft at Wally World last year and think they were $10.00 each. Just bought a couple Fleetguard at $24.00 each. They are more than twice the cost of Motorcraft. I was just wondering if they were worth the extra money? Do they provide better filteration than the Motorcraft?
I have an 03 Ford 7.3 Power Stroke and I'm currently using Motorcraft FL-1995 oil filters. I have been reading about the Fleetguard LF3974 Stratapore oil filters and was wondering if the Fleetguard gives better protection and worth the extra money. I'm changing oil and filter every 5K miles. Not...
I'm on my second tank with FP60 and have not seen any increase in mpg. I do use an additive at each fill up and was using Stanadyne PF until the switch.
I got a reply from LC today. As I expected, it's a secret formula and they can't tell me yes or no. They said it's been used in diesels for over 45 years with not problems. So far at BOB'S I have not heard anything negative about FP60 and the people around here are certainly more than qualified...
Does anyone know if FP60 contains alcohol? I have and 03 Ford PSD and Ford states not to use fuel additives that contain alcohol. I checked the FP60 MSDS on the LC site and it does not list any propietary ingredients. Is there I simply test I can used to check for alcohol?
I have found that companys generally do not respond to emails requesting information. I will give it a try, but I doubt they will reply. If they do respond it will probably be something like it is a secret formula and they can't devulge that information. All I want is a yes or no.
