    MaxLife blend or Pennzoil HM

I don't think you can go wrong with either,-- but I've been running Maxlife in my Rav for the last 220,000 miles. Running it in my Highlander also. In fact been using it for quite some time. Good stuff----------- _____________________ 04 Rav4- 292,000 miles - 5-30 Maxlife and NAPA Gold...

    Synthetic for a long haul?

No worries on the ATF. That is good to go. My neighbor raised the question on my oil, so I became curious.

    Synthetic for a long haul?

For sure tomcat27- I agree about the drag. The pontoon pulls well with the doubleaxel trailer but the insurance of the synthetic so to speak would probably give me peace of mind. (The vehicle is rated for 5000 lbs. with the tow package)

    Synthetic for a long haul?

Thks. OneEyeJack for the reply. Yea I figured as much--I asked the question because I just changed it so I thought maybe I could leave the Maxlife in, but it probably would be better to slip some synthetic in.

    What oil in 88 Buick?

I have had my share of 3800's in Prk. Avenues in the past, but none of those was as old as the 88 I just purchased. I don't have any problem switching from 10-30 in the summer to 5-30 in the winter but I would rather just keep running the same so since I have run Maxlife before in other...

    What oil in 88 Buick?

Picked up an 88 Buick LeSabre Limited with only 84,0000 on it. I've had my share of Buicks with the 3800 in them and I know that it calls for 10-30 to run in it, but with the oils of today; could a guy run 5-30 in it year around instead of switching from 10-30 to 5-30 in the winter...
