    Let's play Jurassic Bitog

Please do not treat religious text as historical facts by calling out the "first Moses". I thought this forum had rules pertaining to religious context.

    Zimmerman trial BITOG style....

I'm not attacking, just trying to make a general statement. The evidence has always been there, since what we consider "evidence" is witness and the individuals involved testimony. We know the events that occurred obviously, the final outcome. This debate in courts is nothing more than...

    Zimmerman trial BITOG style....

This entire subject comes down to democracy at the core, in which every person is allowed to put in an opinion. At the same time, people need to realize that with 300 million (plus) people in this country, it's hard to put in a solid opinion that is considered "right" by the majority. By the...

    Pit Bulls

I've owned two pit bulls, which were/are my last two dogs. The first was a black lab and pit mix, while I just got a full blooded pit 2 months ago. The previous dog had to be put down, not because of her attacking anyone, but because she became paralyzed from what would be the equivalent on...

    Planned obsolescence in laptop batteries?

The whole "2 hours" left of battery life comes down to a hardware and software communication error. Regardless of that error, laptops are going to need new batteries eventually. Rechargeable batteries lose their ability to "hold" charge after multiple charge and discharge acts. Desktop...

    What happened to TechnoLoGs?

Normally I wouldn't post on a topic such as this, but I have to say I'm laughing at some of the things said in this thread. Some individuals state how professional this forum should be (which it is for the most part), but at the same time everyone is talking "gossip" in the general/off-topic...

    Tiki torch oil

There seems to be no definitive information from what I've been able to find. The main things I've seen are citronella, paraffin oil (mineral oil), and a general reference to petroleum based oils. Also, on a reputable companies website, the only information specified is vague and does not...

COA key on 32bit vs 64bit Windows

(I tried attempting to edit my original post, but the forum wasn't giving me the option...) Edit: As Virtual PC is an application, it should recognize that you have a single key showing proof of ownership for Windows 7 (whatever edition you have). Therefore, I wouldn't think you should have an...

Has AdBlock+ gone jumped the shark?

This isn't too surprising, considering there's a lot of cash floating around for displaying advertisements. Allowing advertisements to be viewed on websites helps provide revenue for the website displaying specified ads. AdBlock is a free application, on the other hand, so money talks. On top...

COA key on 32bit vs 64bit Windows

I would assume the COA would work on the 32-bit version, considering it is inter-changeable as we've already covered in this conversation. However, I could not find any definitive information directly from Microsoft or any other reliable source. I'd just wait until you have Virtual PC installed...

COA key on 32bit vs 64bit Windows

As others have stated, yes you should be fine with activation. I just wanted to comment on the RAM specification for Battlefield 4. 64-bit operating systems are basically built for computers with more RAM (more RAM = more multi-tasking), hence the upgrade needed for the game.

    Internet security features?

Well that's why I specifically stated that I force both the browser and operating system to do as much as they can to defend. I never stated that a browser does the work by itself; if anything, it does the least amount of work compared to human input and the defense on the operating system. In...

    The dark side of chocolate...

I suppose I'm the only one that doesn't like chocolate whatsoever, regardless of it being "dark" or "light" or whatever classifications are. Bleh.

    Briggs Fuel FIlters

I've personally always used the "disc" shaped filters on my Craftsman, due to the part number on the mower itself calling for that filter. Although, I don't see much harm done if both perform the same job just as well.

    Internet security features?

There are typically red flags that should give some files away immediately, such as extensions and file size (this is in reference to downloading things on a guest account). These signs typically give away signs of malware/viruses quickly. For example, as most have stated, be careful what you...
