I've decided it! I'm going to add 1gal of lacquer thinner to 10 gallons of gas in vehicle to clear DTC's 0430/0420 for inefficient catalytic converter performance.
I'm going to wait until I've got a trip planned to drive at least 150mi to burn it in one go. Don't want to let it sit in the...
From what I'm reading on that posted Blackstone Labs report shows the fluids are similar, but not identical. Local Honda/Acura dealer swears they're the same. Posts on Honda/Acura forums have reported the fluids are different colors and smell different. Maybe that has changed? Guess we could...
Thanks to all for the info. From the responses, it seems as though the answer is: the valve adjustment should be done, but probably won't be (unless paid for).
The link "the Critic" posted doesn't mention anything explicitly about adjusting the valves.

That's fine, it can wait. You're smart in getting new ones w/bushings. However, you may find them at your local parts store but, you...
After binging on YouTube instructional videos, I just completed swapping front pads and rotors on my 2011 Acura MDX. Reason for the job was that the outboard pad on the DF wheel was worn to the nub. DF inboard pad was perfectly fine. PF wheel pads/rotors were good too and probably didn't need to...
I'll try to keep this question short and sweet:
About a month ago I got my '04 imapala back from the mechanic after a fuel pressure regulator R&R. Shop stated that oil had to be changed due to fuel leaking into the crankcase. After bringing car home and checking the dipstick, oil was way over...
