by comparison to the above Amsoil $98 price I checked the local flyer for Autozone, if I was to do their $35.00 Pennzoil syn special at every 7500 miles it would add up to 35 x 3 = 105 plus tax and I'd still need to buy 6 quarts of oil over that period at $8 since my truck holds 7 quarts...

Maybe I didn't make myself clear but I change the filter and replenish the oil at the 10,000-11,000 mark and I will continue to do this. I ordered a couple of kits from Blackstone Labs last week so I can send in samples when I change the filters this time, I'm very curious as to what comes back...

All I want to know is if the oil has extra life after 10,000 miles and that there is no signs of extreme wear. I've been running 20,000-22,000 mile OCI's for a good while on my two vehicles.

Being new to this, I want your opinions as to where I should order my kits from and send my used Amsoil to when I reach the 10,000 mile mark. Give me your opinions and why they do a better job, cost is a factor for me since I'm on a budget.

Wouldn't using Aisoil Sig series and any good quality filter accomplish the same stuff they are bragging about? I run amsoil and drop the Wix filter mid way thru the change so I'm using 8 quarts of oil for 21,000-22,000 miles, over the standard 3000 mile OIC's I'm keeping 48 quarts of used oil...
