Just saw an ad for 0w5w, 15w50w, and 17.5w35w. Anyone try them or know about them?

Yes you can get it in this part of the world. Go to www.qpower.com and look for racing oil, click on that, then on the right it will tell you where to get it. There is only one place to purchase this product from a racing distributor. It ain't cheap.
A lot more than either. I think it's only available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums. Don't hold me to this but it seems when these products first came out it was around $12.50 - $17.00 per quart. These are not street oils. They were designed for racing only. Use it and get rid of it.
I would be assuming correct that the lack of detergents is the culprit for use it quick, right?
They are indicating that these "race only" oils are for legally sanctioned races only, and don't meet new car warranty requirements....then go on to say that street legal energy saving oils have seriously reduced ZDDP content.

They are very low on detergents and overloaded with AW additives. Full tilt would be an under statement.
Jeff Gordon likes it. Yesterday his car boiled over with 40 laps(52 miles) to go. Steam was still blowing out during his victory loops and burn-out.
