I have an Ellsworth Truth mountain bike with a Manitou Black Super Air, 100mm travel, oil-damped air suspension fork. This fork's service guide calls for SAE 5WT suspension fork oil only.

Can I use Amsoil Shock Therapy Suspension Fluid #5 Light in this mountain bike fork?

Thanks in advance.

Yes,

The Light Amsoil fork oil will work well, and will probably outperform most of the bicycle branded fork oils for less money.

Matter of Fact I have a quart of #10 sitting at my bicycle shop right now. Have a customer putting it in his MTB.

The recommended stock stuff was a #10 but was $12+ for 16 oz. The shop gets it for cost and only charges what they use, So this cusotmer will get a full synthetic product that will cost less.

Good luck with it.

Oh and BTW, marchozzi (or however you spell it) Make both Motorcycle and Bicyle shops in the same place and call for the exact same product.

Thanks.

I'll be picking some up at my local motorcycle dealer tomorrow.
