How's Spectro oil?

Not much info on this brand here. I have a few quarts of the regular petroleum 10w40 coming in for my wife's
V star 250.

Oil somehow is a emotional purchase a lot of times. A cool looking bottle or, nice logo sometimes makes one want to go with one brand over another.

I use to use Spectro in my motorcycles. Strange thing about that oil is there was always some kind of "black crud" settled out in the bottom of the bottles.

In the 80's and 90's that was pretty much all I used. But then I started trying other oils to see if I liked any better. I found many oils that I liked better. Now I usually use Motul 300V 4T.
